George Boyer, M.D.
George M. Boyer, M.D., serves as Medical Director, Pulmonary Function Laboratory of The Lung Center at Mercy, and Chair of The Department of Medicine at Mercy in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Boyer’s extensive medical career at Mercy includes teaching students and residents from University of Maryland School of Medicine and Mercy Medical Center where he is the recipient of several Outstanding Physician Teacher Awards.
Dr. Boyer also is a pulmonologist at The Lung Center at Mercy, where he and his colleagues provide state-of-the-art care for lung disorders such as COPD, lung cancer and interstitial lung disease and sleep disorders. Dr. Boyer is Board Certified in Pulmonary Disease Medicine and Internal Medicine. Dr. Boyer’s interests include obstructive airways disease, high altitude illness and diving medicine.

As former Chief of Pulmonary Medicine at Mercy, Dr. George Boyer’s broad teaching experience and leadership roles in the field of pulmonary disorders, helps upcoming pulmonologists to craft their knowledge and skills in lung disorders.
