Neurosurgeon Dr. Jon McIver and Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Gregory Mendez of Mercy Medical Center Now Seeing Patients at Mace Medical in Dundalk

Board certified neurosurgeon Dr. Jon McIver and Fellowship-trained, orthopedic surgeon Dr. Gregory Mendez, both of Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, have expanded their practices by offering patient care at Mace Medical's Dundalk, Maryland site.

Founded more than 25 years ago, Mace Medical has two locations, in Dundalk and in Essex, MD, focusing on primary care and offering in-house lab testing, diagnostics, behavioral health services, and more.

Dr. McIver provides advanced treatment options for complex neurosurgical injuries and conditions, including minimally invasive brain and spine surgeries and motion preservation surgery. He offers expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of brain tumors and brain trauma, degenerative spine disorders and spine fractures. Dr. McIver sees patients at The Minimally Invasive Brain and Spine Center at Mercy Medical Center downtown, as well as community sites in Lutherville, Ellicott City in addition to Dundalk.

A member of Orthopedics and Joint Replacement at Mercy, a division of Mercy's The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital, Dr. Mendez specializes in hip and knee joint preservation and replacement. He sees patients for common and complex conditions, disorders and injuries. These include acute conditions such as ligament tears and fractures, as well as chronic conditions including osteoarthritis. Dr. Mendez sees patients at Mercy, as well as several Mercy community physician sites around the Baltimore Beltway, as well as at Dundalk.
