Medi-Spa at Mercy: Permanent Make-Up

Permanent Make-Up

Eyeliner
Natural pigments are applied at the base of the lashline making lashes look fuller. A solid line, small dots, or a soft “smudged look” can be achieved. Natural colors are most popular.

Lipliner
The liner corrects asymmetry and adds definition and fullness. It can reshape your lips. The line can be applied lightly for a very natural look or more heavily for a more dramatic look. There are many colors to choose from which can also be custom blended.

Eyebrows
Any woman who uses an eyebrow pencil will love having permanent eyebrows. The procedure does not replace hair, but certainly looks more natural than pencil and eliminates smudges. Eyebrows can be reshaped and designed for your individual needs.

Who should get Permanent Make-up?

…The woman “on the go” with little time to apply make-up.

…the woman who wants a fresh look all of the time; sports, travel, beach and even out of the shower!

…those women with physical limitations which make it difficult to apply make-up.

…the woman who is allergic to conventional make-up, and has problems with watery eyes and smudging.

…those women who desire correction of asymmetrical facial features, like thinning brows or uneven lips.

…any woman who wants to wake up every morning looking her very best!

What is permanent make-up?

Permanent make-up is a machine method of dying the skin by implantation of hypoallergenic pigments. This pigment is placed under the surface of the skin and does not necessarily reach the bloodstream. It is a state of the art technique, designed and medically tested to be completely safe.

Is it safe?

Yes, here at the MediSpa at Mercy our professionally trained and triple certified technician follows strict hygiene and sterilization procedures for your comfort and safety.

Is it a tattoo?

It is a similar procedure; however it is more shallow and delicate. Permanent make-up could fade a bit after years of wear.

Is there a recovery period?

No, permanent make-up implantation is superficial. There will be some redness which subsides quickly. Some clients may experience light swelling or bruising for up to a few days, however it is not usually noticeable to others. It may take up to six weeks for complete healing while the pigment reaches its final shade.
