BACKGROUND: Dr. Simpler is board certified in internal medicine. A graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1984, Dr. Simpler earned her master's in physiology from Georgetown University and her bachelor of science in microbiology from the University of Maryland.

MISCELLANEOUS: During medical school, Dr. Simpler completed the Combined Accelerated Program in Psychiatry (CAPP) with additional training in methods of psychotherapy and inpatient psychiatry. She also underwent training in the Child Psychosomatic Unit at Stanford University.

Dr. Simpler also has a special interest in diet and fitness issues. She conducts a private practice at 808-810 S. Conkling Street in Baltimore City.
