POSITION/TITLE: Board Certified Dermatologist, Division of Dermatology at Mercy Medical Center

BACKGROUND: Dr. Wang received her B.A. in American Studies and English from Georgetown University, her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, and her M.D. from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine and her residency in Dermatology, both at the University of Chicago Medical Center. Dr. Wang comes to us from Boston, MA where she was Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School and Associate Physician in the Department of Dermatology at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital and the Dana-Farber/Brigham & Women’s Cancer Center (DF/BWCC), where she also served as Clinical Director of the Center for Cutaneous Oncology.

MISCELLANEOUS: In the Center for Cutaneous Oncology at DF/BWCC, Dr. Wang directed the MCC (Merkel Cell Carcinoma) clinic, one of only a few clinics in the United States dedicated to this rare and aggressive cutaneous neuroendocrine carcinoma. Dr. Wang has authored numerous publications and spoken nationally in her area of expertise. She served on the Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer Panel of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Medical Dermatology Society and the Women’s Dermatologic Society.
