BACKGROUND: Dr. Walden received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1974 and completed his internship at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center affiliate of the Johns Hopkins Medical School. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the Medical Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland and the Baltimore City Medical Society. He has been in private practice in internal medicine and cardiology since 1981. He completed his fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He is board eligible for the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Cardiology.

MISCELLANEOUS: Dr. Walden has experience in treating adult outpatient diagnostic and treatment problems with occasional minor pediatric, surgical and gynecological care issues. A consultant in cardiology, he performs exercise stress testing for the Maryland State Police. He has conducted research in the pathogenesis of coronary bypass occlusion; comparision of the hemodynamic effects of angiotensin antagonist and Hydralazine in normotensive patients with congestive heart failure; and Cardiazem SR hypertension study.
