POSITION/TITLE: Surgical Director for The Center for Inflammatory Bowel and Colorectal Diseases

BACKGROUND: Dr. Vachon received her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She is board certified in both general surgery and colon-rectal surgery.

A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeon, Dr. Vachon sees patients at Mercy Medical Center in downtown Baltimore and in private practice at McDonogh Crossroads in Owings Mills, MD.

MISCELLANEOUS: Dr. Vachon has made numerous presentations in her field and related medical fields (e.g. the Delorme procedure for complete rectal prolapse in severely debilitated patients; management of inflammatory carcinoma of the breast; surgical complications in children with HIV infections).
