POSITION/TITLE: Director, The Lung Center at Mercy and Co-Chief, Division of Pulmonary Medicine

BACKGROUND: Dr. Polito earned his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine in 1989. Senior Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at the New York University Medical Center, Bellevue Hospital, Dr. Polito served as a Fellow in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

MISCELLANEOUS: Prior to joining Mercy in 2005, Dr. Polito was with The Johns Hopkins Asthma and Allergy Center. He served as Assistant Professor of Medicine with the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Dr. Polito has numerous clinical publications to his credit. He sees patients in The Lung Center at Mercy, located on the 4th floor of the Tower Building at 301 St. Paul Place in downtown Baltimore.
