BACKGROUND: Dr. Maine graduated with a degree in Neuroscience and completed his medical doctorate from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. Dr. Maine completed his residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, served as Chief Resident in the department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine and completed his advanced training in Interventional Pain Medicine.

MISCELLANEOUS: Board certified, Dr. Maine has received many honors and awards, including a Pain Medicine Fellows Grant from the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, a grant from the Glenn Foundation for Research in the Biology of Aging, and The Rochester Prize from the University of Rochester. He has authored several publications, abstracts and book chapters and serves as an active member in the American Pain Society and the American Society of Intervention Pain Physicians.
