FIELD: Pediatric Neonatology

POSITION/TITLE: Director of Newborn Services at Mercy Medical Center

BACKGROUND: An assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Neonatology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Dr. Dulkerian completed her Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship at University of Pennsylvania & Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She returned to Baltimore to join the staff at Mercy Medical Center and the faculty at University of Maryland Medical System more than 15 years ago. Dr. Dulkerian is the Joint Medical Director of the Maryland Regional Neonatal Transport Program.

MISCELLANEOUS: Dr. Dulkerian actively participates in outreach education throughout the state of Maryland. Dr. Dulkerian is featured in the new DISCOVERY HEALTH docu-drama series, "NICU," which debuts July 2010 on the cable network which reaches 80 million homes.
