POSITION/TITLE: On Staff of The Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction at Mercy

BACKGROUND: Prior to joining the Institute’s staff, Dr. Cerrato participated in Foot and Ankle center director Dr. Mark Myerson’s Foot and Ankle Fellowship at Mercy. She received her medical degree from the University of Chicago-Pritzker School of Medicine in 2001 and completed her internship and initial residency at the University of Chicago Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation in 2004. Dr. Cerrato completed her second residency in 2007 at the Georgetown University Department of Orthopaedics.

MISCELLANEOUS: Dr. Cerrato has a number of medical presentations and publications to her credit, as well as research experience at the Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction at Mercy, the National Institute of Health/NIAMS, and at the University of Chicago Department of Orthopaedics. She has received numerous awards and honors in her field.
