POSITION/TITLE: Oncology Nurse, The Breast Center
at Mercy
BACKGROUND: A graduate of Syracuse University
with a bachelor's degree in nursing, Ashley received her master's
degree in nursing at Catholic University. She received her nurse
practitioner training at the Johns Hopkins University School of
Nursing.
At Mercy, Ashley is responsible for evaluation and follow-up
of women with benign breast problems and breast cancer. She also
provides assessment of cancer-related risk and long term care
for women.
MISCELLANEOUS: Ashley coordinates a community
project funded by the Jacob and Hilde Blauster Foundation addressing
breast cancer screening needs of the healthy elderly.
