Mercy Only Hospital In Maryland Honored By Healthstream Research "Excellence Through Insight" Award In Its Category

The HealthStream Research Excellence through Insight awards for the period January-December 2007 were presented this fall and one of the recipients of the Excellence Through Insight Award For Overall Outpatient Satisfaction in Large Hospital Category (250 or more beds) was Mercy Medical Center's Center for Restorative Therapies. There are 109 hopsitals in this category and Mercy is one of five winning the award for this category.

Mercy is the only Maryland hospital to win in this category. Mercy's Surgery Center at Weinberg was also honored. The awards are for Patient, Employee, Physician, and Consumer studies. To win, the client had to be at or above the 75th percentile rank, and they were given awards based on their percentile rank and mean scores.
