Overlea Physicians to Present "Holiday Healthy Servings" Lecture and Dinner

Update on Cardiac Care and Healthy Holiday Recipes and Snacks to be Offered

A special holiday “Healthy Servings” dinner/lectures featuring updates in the areas of cardiology and healthy eating for the holidays, will be presented at Overlea Personal Physicians, 7602 Belair Road, on Wednesday, November 8 at 5 pm. Dinner and the lecture are free, but seating is limited.

Dr. Brian Kahn, Cardiologist at Overlea Personal Physicians, will present a year end update on Heart Disease including the latest advances in prevention, diagnosis and treatment. In addition, Nutritionist Laurie Badolato will discuss “Healthy Eating for the Holidays,” with samples, recipes and healthy eating tips.

This is the fourth is a series of community lectures and dinners presented by Overlea

Personal Physicians. Others have included talks on orthopedics, vascular disease and heart disease. All are free and open to the community.

According to George E. Lowe, MD, director of the Overlea practice, “The doctors and staff of Overlea Personal Physicians are committed to providing the best medical care to patients and families in the area, and are happy to provide this valuable educational program to the community.

“We hope these community programs will help those attending to keep current on the most up to date ways of preventing and treating major illness,” he says.

The dinner and lecture are free and open to the public but seating is limited to the first 50 callers.
