Mercy Medical Center will be participating in the American Diabetes Association (ADA)’s annual “Step Out: Walk To Fight Diabetes” on Saturday, Oct. 2nd, 8 a.m. check-in and 9 a.m. start at Rash Field/Inner Harbor. The walk will be held, rain or shine.

“Mercy’s Marchers” will have a table at the event. Those who raise a minimum of $150 will receive a “Step-Out” t-shirt. Mercy’s team goal is to raise $1,000.

Monies raised help fund education for thousands of newly diagnosed patients and their families; programming such as Camp Glyndon at Lions Camp Merrick; the ADA’s summer camp for children with diabetes; advocacy efforts and research towards a cure.
