Mercy's Susan Appling, MS, CRNP, Elected As A Distinguished Practitioner In The National Academies Of Practice In Nursing
Baltimore, MD – Susan Appling, MS, CRNP, of The Prevention and Research Center at Weinberg, Mercy Medical Center, has been elected by her peers as a Distinguished Practitioner in the National Academies of Practice (NAP) in Nursing. Ms. Appling is a resident of Timonium, MD.
In a correspondence from NAP, Ms. Appling was congratulated by Drs. Karen Wolf and Michael Carter, Chair and Co-Chair for the Nursing Academy, noting her “significant and enduring contributions to health care service.”
The National Academies of Practice is composed of 10 academies representing health care practice in dentistry, medicine, nursing, optometry, osteopathic medicine, pharmacy, podiatric medicine, psychology, social work and veterinary medicine. Only 150 active Distinguished Practitioners may be elected to each academy
Ms. Appling will be honored with the National Academies of Practice medallion at the NAP New Member Induction Banquet to be held March 25-26th in Alexandria, VA. For more information, visit www.NAPractice.org.
