To be held in Mercy's McAuley Conference Center, main floor, McAuley Plaza, 301 St. Paul Place, the event is being led by seven children from the Destination Imagination academic program in Anne Arundel County (three are daughters of Mercy internist Dr. Thomas Lynch and his wife, Debbie).

About 128 clients of the Supportive Housing program are expected to gather gather in the McAuley Conference Center, along with Supportive Housing counselors, representatives from the Enoch Pratt Library system (who will be issuing library cards), Baltimore City Schools (benefits of extracurricular help), various organizations that assist people with writing resumes, finding job opportunities, food services, etc. Representatives of the school system will be giving away gently used books; there will also be ice cream sundaes for the kids.

The seven students have also created 150 school supply bags, appropriate for students pre-school to high school.
