Current concepts in the Evaluation and Treatment of the Foot and Ankle

Presented by The Center for Restorative Therapy and The Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction at Mercy Medical Center, this special course will be held March 3—4, 2007 in the McAuley Conference Center at Mercy, 301 St. Paul Street in downtown Baltimore City.

A one and one half day course for physical therapists, physical therapy assistants and athletic trainers, the course focuses on the most up-to-date evaluation methods and evidence-based surgical and rehabilitative treatments for the foot and ankle. The course format includes lecture and lab time to permit hands on instruction.

Upon completion of the course, participants will:

  • Understand available evaluation tools
  • Perform a biomechanical evaluation
  • Develop evidence based treatment plans for the foot and ankle
  • Perform joint mobilization for the foot and ankle
  • Utilize appropriate outcome tools
