Directions & Parking: Mercy Medical Center
Mercy Medical Center is located at 301 St. Paul Place in downtown Baltimore. Please note: traffic around the Mercy campus and parking arrangements have changed due to construction of Mercy's New Inpatient Tower. Please use the information below to access the Mercy campus.
Directions to Mercy Medical Center
I-95 from the North: Take I-95 heading south
through the Ft. McHenry Tunnel. Continue through the tunnel to
395/Exit 53 (Downtown Inner Harbor). Turn right on Conway St.
Once on Conway St. stay to the left. Go up three traffic lights
to Light St. Turn left on Light St. Go up nine traffic lights
(Light St. turns into Calvert St.). Turn left onto Pleasant St.
Turn right into the parking garage. From the parking garage take
the elevators to level 3 and cross the all weather bridge to get
to the Main Lobby.
Route 40 from the East: Take Route 40 heading
west toward the City. Route 40 will become Orleans St. Cross the
viaduct. Immediately turn right. (Do not cross four lane street
and do not go uphill on Franklin St.) At the stop sign, make a
right onto St. Paul Place and follow street underneath viaduct.
Immediately turn left onto Pleasant St. and then right into the
parking garage. From the parking garage take the elevators to
level 3 and cross the all weather bridge to get to the Main Lobby.
Route 70 from the West: Take Route 70 heading
east to I-695 toward Glen Burnie. Take Exit 11 toward Baltimore
and follow directions from I-95 from the South.
I-95 from the South: Take I-95 heading north
to 395/exit 53 (Downtown Inner Harbor). Turn right on Conway St.
Go up three traffic lights to Light St. Turn left on Light St.
Go up nine traffic lights (Light St. turns into Calvert St.).
Turn left onto Pleasant St. Turn right into the parking garage.
From the parking garage take the elevators to level 3 and cross
the all weather bridge to get to the Main Lobby.
I-295 from the South: Take I-295 heading north
which turns into Russell St. Turn right on Pratt St. and get in
left lane. Turn left onto Calvert St. Turn left on Pleasant St.
(the seventh traffic light) and then turn into the parking garage
on the right. From the parking garage take the elevators to level
3 and cross the all weather bridge to get to the Main Lobby.
Route 40 from the West: Take Route 40 heading
east which turns into Edmondson Ave. Edmondson Ave. will become
Mulberry St. Turn right onto Martin Luther King Blvd. and travel
to Pratt St. Turn left on Pratt St. and continue to Calvert St.
Turn left onto Calvert St. Turn left onto Pleasant St. (the seventh
traffic light) and turn right into the parking garage. From the
parking garage take the elevators to level 3 and cross the all
weather bridge to get to the Main Lobby.
I-83 from the North (Jones Falls Expressway):
Take I-83 heading south to Exit 2 (Pleasant St.), which exits
from the left. Turn right onto Pleasant St. After crossing Guilford
and Calvert Streets turn right into the parking garage. From the
parking garage take the elevators to level 3 and cross the all
weather bridge to get to the Main Lobby.
Parking at the Pleasant Street Garage
The Pleasant Street Garage is attached to Mercy's Main Lobby
and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Hourly fees apply.
Valet parking is available at the front entrance of the hospital
on the corner of Pleasant Street and St. Paul Place for a fee.
Directions from Mercy Medical Center to Major Roadways
To I-95 and Route 70: Turn right out of the
garage onto Pleasant St. Turn left onto St. Paul Place, which
will become Light St. Turn right onto Conway St. and follow signs
to I-95. For Route 70, take I-95 South and then I-695 toward Towson.
To Route 40 West: Turn right out of the garage
onto Pleasant St. and then turn left onto St. Paul Place. Turn
right onto Saratoga St. and then right onto Charles St. Turn left
onto Franklin St.
To Route 40 East: Turn right out of the garage
onto Pleasant St. and then turn left onto St. Paul Place. Turn
right onto Saratoga St. and immediately turn right onto St. Paul
St. Turn right onto Orleans St.
To I-295: Turn right out of the garage onto
Pleasant St. and then turn left onto St. Paul Place, which will
become Light St. Turn right onto Lombard St. Turn left onto Greene
St., which turns into Russell St.
To I-83: Turn right out of the garage onto Pleasant
St. and then turn left onto St. Paul Place. Turn left onto Lexington
St. and then left onto Calvert St. Turn right onto Center St.
Cross Guilford St. and bear left.
