Oral Insulin Spray Studies | Navigator Trial

The Diabetes Center is conducting research to test the effectiveness of a new FDA-approved oral insulin developed by the Generex Biotechnology Corporation, an internationally recognized biotechnology company.

Check updates from current research by clicking here.

The purpose of the study is to determine whether the new oral insulin spray is effective in controlling patients' blood sugar levels without the aid of insulin injections, while providing an improvement for patients over taking multiple oral diabetes medications.

Patients involved in some of the oral insulin studies will also be using a Continuous Glucose Monitoring System.

Eligibility: Diabetes patients who are not experiencing good control of their blood sugar levels (e.g. with hemoglobin A 1, 7-13%) who are between the ages of 18 and 70 and on oral diabetes medications or insulin.
