Diabetes education is the teaching and learning of a body of knowledge, skills and attitudes with the ultimate goal being behavioral changes necessary for optimal health outcomes, psychological adaptation and quality of life.

At the Diabetes Center at Mercy, we provide Diabetes Self-Management Skills and Education & Training based on National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education Programs.
