The surgeons of Orthopedics and Joint Replacement at Mercy treat a variety of orthopedic conditions. Innovative procedures are offered for knee, shoulder, and hip, including hip arthroscopy, a minimally invasive procedure to repair damage within the hip joint, and anterior approach hip replacement, an advanced surgical technique to replace the hip. Other offerings include arthroscopic stabilization and rotator cuff repair, multiple ACL reconstruction techniques, and advanced fracture care.
When should I arrive for my appointment?
For an office consultation, you should arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. For surgery, you should arrive 60 minutes before your scheduled surgery.
What should I bring to my initial consultation?
You should bring your medical records from your referring physician and, if applicable, your referral form. Please bring your insurance card, any relevant X-ray, MRI, myelogram, or CT films, and a list of all medications you are taking (names, dosages, frequency). You also should bring payment for any co-pays or co-insurances and cash to utilize parking services.
