About Our Physicians
Kamala H. Littleton, M.D.
Kamala H. Littleton, M.D., received her medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her Orthopedic Surgery residency at the University of Maryland Medical System.
Board Certified, Dr. Littleton specializes in the anterior approach to hip replacement, minimally invasive total knee replacement, knee arthroscopy, and ACL reconstruction. In addition to hip and knee replacement, she performs shoulder arthroscopy, including stabilization and arthroscopic rotator cuff repair.
Dr. Littleton leads The Women’s Orthopedic Program at Mercy, which was developed to focus on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions to which women are more susceptible. Previously, as an active duty Major in the United States Air Force, Dr. Littleton practiced orthopedic surgery at David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in California.
A published author, Dr. Littleton is a member of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
